Hemlock Morris Dancers are Bedford’s only mixed (male and female) gothic/alternative/dark (call it what you will...) Morris dance side. Born from the desire of a group of young women in Bedford wishing to dance morris dances, Hemlock has gone from strength to strength whilst bringing a new lease of life to an age-old tradition. Media hype would have you believe Morris Dancing in any form will be extinct in 20 years – well, not in Bedford!
